Millwall Football Club - Salesforce charity football tournament NSPCC

What a day it was last thursday playing football at Millwall Football Club for the Salesforce charity football tournament in aid of the NSPCC.

It was a great day with the Salesforce AEs, Partners and ISVs. Thank you to Salesforce, ThirdEye Consulting, Natterbox, Upland Software, Steadman Brown, Art of Cloud for sponsoring the event and making it all happen. Well done to Tableau for winning and everyone who played, there was some fantastic football being plaid and all for a great cause.

Thursday was all about the NSPCC UK: Protecting Children

Children's welfare is vital for organisations such as the NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children) in the UK. Established in 1884, the NSPCC has been at the forefront of child protection efforts, providing vital support, raising awareness, and advocating for change.

In support of the NSPCC, many reputable Salesforce AE's and we at Steadman Brown participated in a football tournament at Millwall Stadium.

So what work do the #NSPCC do, and why must companies support this noble cause?

The NSPCC's Mission
Prevent child abuse, protect children at risk, and transform society to make it safer for children, offering a range of services, including helplines, counselling, online safety guidance, and support for children who have experienced abuse or neglect. The NSPCC's commitment to early intervention and prevention is crucial in ensuring the well-being and safety of children across the UK.

Campaigning for Change
Beyond its direct services, the NSPCC also advocates for policy changes and reforms to protect children. The organisation campaigns for stronger laws, better-safeguarding practices, and increased public awareness of issues like child abuse, online safety, and child sexual exploitation.

Importance of Corporate Support
Companies have a social responsibility to contribute to the welfare of society, and supporting organisations like the NSPCC can have a significant impact.

How Companies Can Support the NSPCC: There are several ways in which companies can support the NSPCC and contribute to child protection:
????Donations
????Corporate Partnerships
????Employee Involvement
