Why did you Start Steadman Brown?
Having managed, created, and built Salesforce recruitment teams for two other companies, the next challenge for me was simple, to do it for myself.
I hate that recruitment has a reputation for a smoke and mirrors type approach. So, Steadman Brown was set up with a couple of really clear USP's: Be brutally honest with everyone, be passionate about what we do, and enjoy helping people! This clear, honest, and direct approach has meant that many of our clients work exclusively with Steadman Brown, and so many of our candidates have transitioned to become clients.
We're not the biggest Salesforce recruitment agency in the UK. But we are the most honest, and transparent one.
What's the best thing about recruitment?
The ability to influence and watch people's careers grow. I've recruited so many candidates who have gone from Admin to Technical Architect, and from CRM Manager to Director. Watching people's careers grow and being able to influence, this is really special.
If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
To be able to time travel. The world is full of unanswered questions and problems that could have easily had a better outcome, so by time traveling, I could change those.
Favourite thing to watch
Only fools and Horses. There is never not a moment that Only Fools and Horses can't be a good thing to watch!
Pet peeve
Indecisiveness. I am a firm believer that no decision is the wrong decision. I'd rather make a mistake through trying, than to not try.
