I'm working with a national manufacturing company that has recently brought Salesforce in as their trusted CRM. Their projects cover multi-cloud implementations as well as working on some niche Salesforce products.

You will define and maintain the vision for their product portfolio and ensure that the strategy, propositions and pricing decisions support business objectives. The successful candidate will have proven product management knowledge from a SaaS or commercial software product, strong understanding of SaaS product economics, a track record of turning market and customer insight into measurable commercial outcomes and strong stakeholder management experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and maintain the vision, value propositions and multi-year strategy for their product portfolio
  • Ensure individual product roadmaps and releases are aligned to strategic goals and organisational priorities.
  • Ensure product strategy, propositions and pricing decisions support business objectives.
  • Lead market research and competitor benchmarking
  • Build business cases and financial models (e.g. revenue, costs, pricing, bundles, discounts) to secure investment.
  • Develop product propositions and launch plans
  • Own and maintain internal and external roadmaps, prioritising outcomes that deliver customer value and commercial viability within agreed usability and technical constraints.
  • Recommend where to invest (and not invest) across the product portfolio, making transparent trade-offs between impact, risk, cost and opportunity.
  • Ensure teams across the organisation have a shared understanding of product strategy, target customers, value propositions and priorities

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience defining and delivering product strategy, including ownership of product vision, value propositions and multi-year roadmaps.
  • Strong background aligning product roadmaps and releases to wider business goals, ensuring delivery is commercially driven and outcome focused.
  • Experience owning pricing and packaging decisions, with an understanding of how product strategy supports revenue growth and overall business performance.
  • Demonstrated experience carrying out market research and competitor analysis to inform product direction and positioning.
  • Ability to build business cases and financial models, including forecasting revenue, costs and ROI to support investment decisions.
  • Experience developing product propositions and leading go-to-market planning in collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Strong experience managing and prioritising product backlogs and roadmaps, balancing customer value, technical constraints and commercial impact.
  • Proven ability to make strategic investment decisions across a product portfolio, weighing up risk, cost and opportunity.
  • Experience working cross-functionally to ensure alignment across teams, with clear communication of product strategy, priorities and target customers.
