I'm currently working with a nationally recognised automotive brand who operate worldwide and are fully invested in Salesforce and its latest tech with plans to implement Agentforce and Data Cloud early 2026.
As a Salesforce Release Manager you'll own the end-to-end release management lifecycle, ensuring high-quality, timely, and secure Salesforce deployments. You will coordinate across admin, development, QA, and DevOps teams to manage release schedules, environments, and governance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the Salesforce release calendar, coordinating with stakeholders across teams.
- Plan, schedule, and control releases across Salesforce orgs (e.g., sandbox, UAT, production).
- Work with developers, admins, and DevOps engineers to package and deploy changes using tools like Gearset, Copado, Jenkins, or similar.
- Facilitate release-related meetings, including go/no-go calls and post-release reviews.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Salesforce release management or environment management.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, metadata types, and deployment tools.
- Hands-on experience with version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD tools (e.g., Gearset, Copado, Jenkins).
- Solid knowledge of change and release management best practices (e.g., ITIL).
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Platform App Builder, DevOps Center training).
