Steadman Brown are working with one of the largest Salesforce customers in the UK, a brand I'm sure you've heard of. They are currently expanding their internal Salesforce team that are working across Sales, Service, Experience, Agentforce, Data360, Marketing and MuleSoft.
They are now seeking a Salesforce & Digital Operations Engineer to join the team. You will work closely with the Salesforce Administrator on tickets, fixes and platform issues within Salesforce and the wider tech stack. You will investigate issues end-to-end, perform root cause analysis, establish where the problem actually sits and coordinate the appropriate internal teams or third parties to resolve it.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support across Salesforce and the wider tech stack, including connected applications, integrations and enterprise platforms.
- Work closely with the Salesforce Administrator on tickets, incidents, fixes and ongoing platform support.
- Triage and investigate issues, determining whether the root cause sits within Salesforce, another application, an integration or elsewhere in the technology stack.
- Perform root cause analysis and help implement longer-term fixes for recurring issues.
- Understand how different platforms integrate, exchange data and communicate with Salesforce, allowing issues to be investigated end-to-end.
- Take ownership of issues through to resolution and keep relevant business stakeholders informed.
- Support business users with training, guidance and platform adoption, particularly around Salesforce and associated systems.
- Support release management and deployments across Salesforce and connected platforms, including testing, validation and operational readiness.
- Help ensure changes and releases don't negatively impact Salesforce, integrations or downstream/upstream systems.
- Maintain support documentation, processes and knowledge around common issues and resolutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve platform stability, support processes and the overall user experience.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience supporting a wider enterprise application environment, not just one system (Salesforce must be one of them).
- Good understanding of integrations, APIs, data flows and how enterprise applications communicate.
- Strong experience with ticket triage, troubleshooting, incident management and root cause analysis.
- Ability to investigate an issue across multiple systems and determine where the actual problem sits.
- Comfortable coordinating technical teams, developers, integration specialists and third-party suppliers to drive issues through to resolution.
- Experience supporting business users, ideally including training and adoption.
- Exposure to Salesforce/platform release management, deployments and change processes.
- Understanding of DevOps/release processes is beneficial, but this is not a deep DevOps engineering role.
- Strong stakeholder communication, ownership and problem-solving skills.

- Company Bonus
- Company Pension
- Generous Annual Leave Allowance
