I'm partnered with a global Hi-Tech business who have Salesforce as their trusted CRM, Their projects cover Sales, Service and Experience Cloud with Marketing and Data Cloud on their roadmap as they grow their org.

Our client is continuously developing and enhancing their Salesforce practice and is now seeking an experienced Lead QA Tester to support the quality and reliability of their Salesforce solutions. This role will focus on establishing and overseeing robust testing strategies across the platform, ensuring all releases meet high-quality standards. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to implement test automation, manage test cycles, and drive continuous improvement within the QA function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of comprehensive test strategies and test plans based on project requirements, timelines, and resources.  
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define testing scope and objectives. 
  • Create and review manual and automated test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios to ensure thorough coverage of functional and non-functional requirements. 
  • Execute test cases and oversee the testing process, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing. Identify, report, and track defects, and work with developers to resolve issues. 
  • Promote and implement test automation where applicable, improving testing efficiency and repeatability. 
  • Monitor and enforce quality assurance processes and standards throughout the software development lifecycle. 
  • Ensure compliance with industry best practices and relevant regulations. 
  • Identify potential risks and issues in the software development process and implement risk mitigation strategies.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Strong ability to develop test strategies and plans aligned with project requirements and timelines. 
  • Proven experience in collaborating with stakeholders to define clear and effective testing objectives.
  • Proficiency in designing, creating, and reviewing manual and automated test cases and scripts. 
  • Solid understanding of various testing types, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing. 
  • Skilled in defect tracking and resolution, with the ability to liaise effectively with development teams. 
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks, with a focus on improving efficiency.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance standards and enforcing QA best practices across the development lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to software testing. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
