We are currently working with a leading UK business who specialise in the property industry, providing support to some of the biggest housing projects in the country which will provide an affordable place to stay for thousands of families. At the heart of all this, they utilise Salesforce to take tenants and buyers through the move-in process.
The Salesforce Product Owner is responsible for driving the strategic vision, roadmap, and execution of the Salesforce platform—primarily Sales Cloud—and its integrated ecosystem. This role bridges business needs and technical capabilities, ensuring Salesforce solutions deliver maximum business value, streamline sales operations, and enhance the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary owner and subject matter expert for Salesforce Sales Cloud and related integrated platforms.
- Define, prioritise, and manage the product backlog aligned with business goals and stakeholder needs.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Configure and optimise Salesforce Sales Cloud features, including leads, opportunities, pipelines, workflows, and reporting dashboards.
- Oversee integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems (e.g., marketing automation, ERP, customer success tools, etc.).
- Monitor system performance, data integrity, and user adoption; recommend and implement improvements.
- Champion Salesforce best practices and ensure alignment with governance, data security, and compliance standards.
- Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to end users.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases, new features, and industry trends to continually evolve the platform.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud configuration and customisation.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce integrations with other enterprise platforms (e.g., middleware, APIs, data sync, automation tools).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator.
